Lisa Wong has more than 25 years of experience with national law firms, FORTUNE 500® corporations, and equity-backed companies. Prior to joining Brown & Fortunato, Lisa served almost a decade as Chief Counsel at a FORTUNE 5® healthcare corporation and then as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a national mail-order durable medical equipment (DME) company.

Drawing on her extensive in-house experience, Lisa understands the practical realities clients face when navigating legal and compliance challenges. She partners with clients to find business-focused solutions that manage regulatory risk while supporting operational goals.

Lisa has significant expertise in DME reimbursement and billing issues, medical documentation requirements, operational processes, and government claims audits. Additionally, she has advised her clients with respect to state licensure, accreditation, and Medicare and Medicaid program enrollment requirements. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked on healthcare mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures from due diligence through the operational and legal integration of the acquired company post-closing.

Lisa and her husband, Peter, live in southwest Utah where they enjoy hiking and exploring the area’s national parks with their two German Shepherds, Buck and Lupita.
