Jesse Fishman is a Senior Attorney and member of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Group where her practice is focused on representing employers in litigation, pre-litigation, and counseling matters.

Prior to joining Brown & Fortunato, Jesse was a partner at a national plaintiff’s employment law firm where she represented individuals in various discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination matters. Jesse has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict. At Brown & Fortunato, Jesse draws on her experience from the other side of the bar, advising employers on best practices and how to avoid costly mistakes. When needed, Jesse is a tireless advocate for her clients, guiding them through the rigors of litigation.

Originally from Ohio, Jesse attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she majored in English and psychology. While attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Jesse participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic, helping victims of domestic violence secure civil protection orders.

In 2017, Jesse was honored as one of Wyoming’s “Forty Under Forty.” From 2019 through 2024, Jesse has been honored as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor reserved for 2.5% of lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice.

Jesse is active in community-focused leadership and volunteer programs, having participated in Roots & Branches, an initiative of the Rose Community Foundation; Impact Denver, a Program of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation; and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jesse is currently a Law School…Yes We Can Colorado Mentor.

In her free time, Jesse enjoys hiking with her kids, skiing, and international travel.
