Janet Taylor Appointed President-Elect Of Panhandle Professional Writers

Janet Taylor has been appointed President-Elect of Panhandle Professional Writers.  In July, she will be President and will serve a one year term.  Previously, Janet served as the Membership Director and Hospitality Director.  Since 1920, the organization has brought together writers of the panhandle of Texas and surrounding regions.  Its mission is to help writers attain higher writing standards, encourage them toward their goals of publication, and help published writers promote their work.  In addition, the organization sponsors an annual youth writing contest.  Among its members are many national award-winning authors.
