Elizabeth H. Jepson Passes Texas Board Of Legal Specialization Exam

Brown & Fortunato is pleased to announce that Elizabeth H. Jepson has passed the Texas Board of Legal Specialization – Health Law exams. Ms. Jepson is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Kansas. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization certifies attorneys in 21 select areas of law and is the only organization authorized to provide this service to the citizens of Texas. The Board Certification process is rigorous and thorough with stringent, ongoing requirements after initial certification.

Ms. Jepson represents health care providers on a broad range of issues including licensure and certification, Medicare/Medicaid compliance, the HIPAA and HITECH Acts, provider contracting, payor audits, federal program reimbursement, operational and security issues, fraud and abuse issues, Stark Law, criminal and fraud investigations and compliance matters. With her certification, Brown & Fortunato now has six attorneys who are board certified in Health Law.
