Amarillo law firm Brown & Fortunato is growing. The firm opened its doors in 1995 with three attorneys, and has since experienced extraordinary growth. Today, Brown & Fortunato has thirty-four attorneys, including 14 shareholders. Adapting to 21st century demands, the firm has lawyers located in Amarillo, Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Kansas, and Kerrville, Texas.

A full service commercial firm, Brown & Fortunato has nationally recognized practices, particularly its healthcare group which represents durable medical equipment and hospice businesses, pharmacies, and hospitals. The firm’s oil and gas practice is unsurpassed in the Texas Panhandle, having among its practice group four of the seven board certified oil and gas attorneys located in Amarillo. The firm also has highly qualified and experienced employment, transactional and litigation attorneys to fully support its clients’ needs.

Brown & Fortunato anticipates its growth to continue. Four new law school graduates joined the firm in 2016, seven summer law clerks will begin in May, and three new attorneys will join the firm this September. Because of this growth, the firm has expanded its office space in the Wells Fargo Bank building to accommodate its growing number of lawyers and to serve its substantial client base.
