Brown and Fortunato, P.C. announces two attorneys have joined the firm.
Gregg R. Cannady brings 18 years of private law practice experience with a leading Dallas-based law firm and 5 years experience serving as general counsel for one of Texas’ largest home health care providers.
Gregg was born in Guymon, Oklahoma and grew up in West Texas. He attended Rice University where he was a member of the Rice Owls football team. Gregg graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
Gregg has a general business practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, business start-ups and general business advice. He has written and spoken on a variety of topics including issues arising in the acquisition and sale of privately held businesses, director and officer liability insurance and corporate governance.
Nathan C. Fish graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and worked as a housing specialist for the Austin Tenants’ Council before obtaining his law degree. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
In 2010 he obtained a Master of Laws in Health Law from the University of Houston Law Center where he received the Robert S. Toth LL.M. Writing Award. His articles on health care reform, judicial intervention and medical issues have been published in several health law journals. His practice is focused on health law.
