Alfonso Zambrano of Brown & Fortunato to serve on the Amarillo Local Government Corporation

Alfonso Zambrano of Brown & Fortunato has agreed to serve on the Amarillo Local Government Corporation beginning January 1, 2019. The Amarillo Local Government Corporation (the “LGC”) is responsible for the public/private partnership for the development of catalyst projects for downtown Amarillo. This includes over $100 million in projects involving the Convention Hotel, Parking Garage, and AA Baseball Stadium. The LGC is the landlord and owner of these facilities and has general responsibility for the construction and operations of each project. The LGC is a statutory entity that operates under the City of Amarillo. The 7-member Board of Directors consists of 2 members from the City Counsel, and 5 members of the public.
