Alfonso and Britny Zambrano won the Up & Coming Distinguished Volunteer Award for Amarillo at the 35th Annual Golden Nail Awards Gala on April 6, 2017. In May 2013, Alfonso Zambrano was elected as a board member for the Junior Achievement of the High Plains and will serve a 3 year term.  Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Alfonso Zambrano was elected as board member for the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in January 2013.  He will serve a 3 year term.  The Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to foster Hispanic economic development and to create sustainable prosperity for the benefit of West Texas.
