Brown & Fortunato is pleased to announce that the firm has named three new shareholders, Allison L. Davis, Elizabeth H. Jepson and Matt W. Sherwood. The total number of shareholders at Brown & Fortunato is now fifteen.

Allison L. Davis is a member of Brown & Fortunato’s Labor and Employment law team. She practices primarily in employment litigation, employment counseling, and commercial litigation. Allison is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Amarillo Area Bar Association and the Amarillo Young Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas, and Western District of Texas. Allison currently serves on the Board of Directors for Center City of Amarillo, an organization dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Amarillo, and the Medical Center League House, a hospitality house for family members of adult patients who travel to Amarillo for medical treatment.

Elizabeth H. Jepson is a member of Brown & Fortunato’s Health Care Group. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and Kansas. Elizabeth achieved her Board Certification in Health Law in 2015. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Amarillo Area Bar Association, and the Amarillo Young Lawyers Association. Elizabeth is also a member of the Institutional Review Board at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center – Amarillo, which reviews research protocols to protect human research subjects. Elizabeth’s practice focuses on representation of home medical equipment suppliers, pharmacies, manufacturers, infusion companies, labs, home health agencies, hospitals and other health care providers.

Matt W. Sherwood joined Brown & Fortunato as a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. Matt has practiced almost exclusively in civil and commercial litigation since becoming a licensed attorney in 2008. He became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in 2014. Matt’s practice includes representing individuals and businesses in numerous types of litigation matters including those involving contracts, construction, employment, personal injury, professional liability, products liability, real estate, oil and gas, tort, and insurance defense. He is currently in his second term on the Executive Committee of the Amarillo Area Bar Association, serving as Secretary/Treasurer. He serves as a director for Kids, Inc., a local non-profit youth sports program, and on the Center City Club, a young professionals group in Amarillo he helped form. In the past, Matt has served as a director for Amarillo Habitat for Humanity and was the chair of the Amarillo Independent School District 2017 Citizens’ Bond Committee.
