Kurt M. Taylor joined Brown & Fortunato as a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Amarillo Area Bar Association, and the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association.

Kurt grew up in rural Missouri. In 2016, he graduated magna cum laude from Webster University in St. Louis with the highest departmental honors and degrees in Psychology and Legal Studies. At Webster, Kurt was involved with a number of student organizations and was named to the Dean’s List several times.

In 2019, Kurt received his Juris Doctor from Emory Law School in Atlanta. While at Emory, Kurt was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory International Law Review. His law review comment, Fictions of the Final Frontier: Why the United States SPACE Act of 2015 is Illegal, was published in Volume 33 of the Emory International Law Review.

With a background in the arts, Kurt is a trained pianist and enjoys performing as well as traveling and spending time with friends.
