Ian S. Marable is a member of Brown & Fortunato’s Litigation Group. Prior to joining the firm, Ian worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Texas Panhandle, where he served as lead counsel in numerous felony jury trials, successfully obtaining numerous convictions.

Transitioning from a robust background in criminal defense, Ian lends his extensive courtroom experience to the dynamic field of health care litigation at Brown & Fortunato. His approach, characterized by meticulous legal research and strategic analysis, supports sophisticated, effective trial strategies. Ian’s proven track record of effectively representing clients and advocating for their rights, through clear communication and persuasive argument, instills confidence in those seeking adept legal representation. Ian is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He received his bachelor’s degree in journalism, summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University and Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Boulder School of Law.

Ian has roots in Canyon, Texas where he was raised. In his free time Ian enjoys playing chess and spending time with his family. Ian, his wife, Mavy, and their children, Dante and Madelyn, enjoy exploring new places together.
