• Richard F. Brown, Jeffery A. McCarn, and Conrad D. Hester will present an “Oil and Gas Caselaw Update” at the 2013 PPROA Annual Convention in Amarillo, Texas on September 24-26, 2013.

• Richard F. Brown will speak at the Institute for Energy Law, Texas Mineral Title Course in Houston, Texas on May 2-3, 2013.  Mr. Brown will present “Irregular Owners – Unleased, Nonparticipating, Unpooled, or Uncertain Owners and How to Manage the Issues.”

• Jeffery A. McCarn presented “Negotiating and Drafting Exploration and Joint Development Agreements” at the 2013 Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Institute in Houston, Texas on March 22, 2013.

• Mr. Baird also presented “Leave Your Comfort Zone! Payment Sources Other Than Medicare.” on March 20, 2013 and “Revised Glucose Monitor LCD: Documentation Challenge for Diabetic Suppliers” on March 21, 2013.

• Jeffrey S. Baird will present a webinar titled "You Have Been Awarded a Competitive Bid Contract:  Now What Do You do?" on February 5, 2012 for the MED Group.

• Jeffrey S. Baird presented "2013 Legal and Reimbursement Challenges and Opportunities" with Andrea Stark on the MiraVista, LLC and HME News Webinar on January 15, 2013.

• Jeffrey S. Baird and Timothy L. Webster presented "Fiscal Cliff Deal & Impact on DME" for the OmniSYS webinar on January 10, 2013.

• Denise M. Fletcher presented "The ACO Basics:  What They Are Now, What They Can Become, and How to be Ready" on January 9, 2013 at the Medical Managers of Amarillo luncheon.

• Jeffrey S. Baird spoke on January 9, 2013 in Long Branch, New Jersey at the New Jersey Association of Medical Equipment Services Conference.  Mr. Baird's presentation was titled "You Have...Or Have Not...Been Awarded a Competitive Bid Contract:  Now What Do You Do?"  On January 10, 2013, he presented "Camel's Nose Under the Tent Flap:  Preparing for and Responding to Increasingly Aggressive Actions by ZPICs, Accrediting Organizations, and the NSC."

• Jeffrey S. Baird presented "Nuts and Bolts Approach to Implementing a Successful Compliance Program" with Laraine M. Forry for the American Association for Homecare webinar on December 11, 2012. 

• Jeffrey S. Baird spoke on the American Association for Homecare Webinar on November 6, 2012.  His topic of discussion was "Innovative Marketing and Joint Ventures...Within Legal Parameters."

• Richard F. Brown will speak in Houston, TX at the 2012 Advanced Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Course. Mr. Brown will present "Case Law Update" on October 18, 2012.

• Jeffrey S. Baird spoke at the National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Convention on October 12, 2012.  His topic was "Selling or Buying a Pharmacy:  A Decision This Big is Worth a Little Planning."

• Jeffrey S. Baird spoke at Medtrade Fall  in Atlanta, Georgia.  On October 15, 2012, his presentation was titled "Living in a Glass House:  Preparing for and Responding to Increasingly Aggressive Actions by ZPICs, Accrediting Organizations, and the NSC" and he presented"Marketing and Relationships with Referral Sources:  How to be Innovative within the Bounds of the Law" on October 16, 2012.

• Jeffrey S. Baird presented "Mail Order Competitive Bid, Inherently Reasonableness, and the Market Pricing Program" on October 9, 2012 on a webinar for OmniSYS.
