Brown & Fortunato is looking for experienced attorneys. We currently have a openings in the following area:

Brown & Fortunato, P.C.'s Health Care Group, which currently includes nine lawyers who exclusively practice health law (five are board certified in Health Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization), provides sophisticated legal services to health industry clients throughout the United States.  The attorneys represent institutional providers, home medical equipment companies, hospitals and physicians, pharmacies and home care providers.

Senior Healthcare Attorney

The firm is seeking an attorney with 10 or more years experience heavily concentrated in health care law.  Law firm experience is a prerequisite; some in-house experience is a plus.  Qualified candidates will be self-starters with excellent academic credentials, strong communication, research and writing skills, a commitment to providing quality service to clients, and a keen attention to detail.  An understanding of federal and state fraud and abuse and self-referral laws and other specialized health care issues is necessary.  Candidates must have the ability to lead and motivate a group of attorneys and staff.  Strong organizational skills with proven delegation and follow through ability are required.

Corporate and transactional experience is preferred.  Speaking and marketing experience is desirable.  Candidates actively licensed in Texas are preferred and ultimately required.

Healthcare Attorney

The firm is seeking an attorney with two or more years experience with significant exposure to health care law.  Law firm experience is a prerequisite; some in-house experience is a plus.  Qualified candidates will be self-starters with excellent academic credentials, strong communication, research and writing skills, a commitment to providing quality service to clients, and a keen attention to detail.  An understanding of federal and state fraud and abuse and self-referral laws and other specialized health care issues is helpful.  Candidates must have the ability to work as a team member with other health care attorneys and staff.  Strong organizational skills and follow through ability are required.

Corporate and transactional experience is preferred.  Speaking and marketing experience is desirable.  Candidates actively licensed in Texas are preferred and ultimately required.
