Phuong Nguyen joined Brown & Fortunato in 2007 as a member of the firm’s Health Care Group. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Amarillo Area Bar Association.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Phuong came to the United States with his family at the age of four. He is fluent in Vietnamese and English. He attended college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in Philosophy and Math and a minor in music.
Phuong attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center where he earned his J.D. in 2006. In law school, he was the recipient of the Prudential Life Insurance Scholarship from the faculty, awarded for being an outstanding health law student, and the Dean’s Scholarship. He won first place in the Houston Bar Association’s Health Law Writing Competition.
Phuong, his wife and two children enjoy outdoor activities.
