Laura Hale is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Amarillo Area Bar Association and Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association. She has served on the Board of Directors to the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association since 2006. Laura joined the firm in 2006 and she practices in oil and gas, family law and civil litigation.
Laura was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University where she earned a B.A. in English, graduating magna cum laude. While in college, Laura was active in various honor societies and student organizations.
Laura attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law. In law school, she participated in the Family Law Clinic and helped pro bono clients with their divorce cases. Laura received her J.D. in May 2004, graduating cum laude, ranked in the top 25% of her class.
Laura began her legal career as an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Lubbock. During her time at Legal Aid, she handled suits affecting the parent child relationship and protective order cases. Laura also wrote several integral grants for the continuation of Legal Aid's legal programs.
Laura's interests include: traveling, reading, and cooking.
