Conrad D. Hester is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Amarillo Area Bar Association and the Amarillo Young Lawyers Association. Conrad joined Brown & Fortunato in 2008. His practice focuses on litigation, employment law, and commercial law. Born and raised in Abilene, Texas, Conrad graduated from Abilene High School.

Conrad earned his B.S. in Psychology summa cum laude from Abilene Christian University in 2005. He authored two published papers - on humor's role in social hierarchy and the relationship between spirituality and apocalyptic thought, as well as presenting his experimental findings on the Beauty-Contrast Effect at the Southwestern Psychological Association conference in 2004. While at ACU, Conrad was selected as a Jack Pope Fellow and minored in Public Service. Conrad was also honored as a University Scholar and a Presidential Scholar while attending ACU.

Conrad graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 2008. Conrad was a senior associate editor of the Texas Review of Litigation Journal and his Note was selected for publication in Volume 27. In 2007, Conrad won the Intrascholastic Mediation Tournament Championship. A member of the Board of Advocates, he also competed in Moot Court, Mock Trial, and the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. Conrad was a member of the Teaching Quizmasters Program and the South Asian Law Students Association, worked for the Tarlton Law Library as a Westlaw Representative, and served as a Research Assistant for Professor Lonny Hoffman and the late Professor Roy Mersky.

Conrad enjoys theater, art, and philosophy.
