Conrad D. Hester is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Amarillo Area Bar Association, and the Amarillo Young Lawyers Association. Conrad joined Brown & Fortunato in 2008 and is admitted to practice before the Northern District of Texas. His practice focuses on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Born and raised in Abilene, Texas, Conrad graduated from Abilene High School.

Conrad earned his B.S. in Psychology summa cum laude from Abilene Christian University in 2005. At ACU, Conrad was selected as a Jack Pope Fellow and minored in Public Service. Conrad was also honored as a University Scholar and a Presidential Scholar while attending ACU.

Conrad graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2008. Conrad was a senior associate editor of the Review of Litigation journal and his Note was selected for publication in Volume 27. A member of the Board of Advocates, Conrad won the Mediation Tournament Championship and competed in Moot Court, Mock Trial, and the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. Conrad was a member of the Teaching Quizmasters Program, worked for the Tarlton Law Library as a Westlaw Representative, and served as a Research Assistant for Professor Lonny Hoffman and the late Professor Roy Mersky.

Every Monday, Conrad serves as a judge for Amarillo Teen Court. He also volunteers for Amarillo Legal Aid and as a grant-writer for the Amarillo SPCA.

Conrad enjoys theater, art, and philosophy.
