Brandi A. Lang is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Amarillo Area Bar Association and The Florida Bar. Her practice focuses on transactions including real estate, corporate matters, business law, insurance, and lending/finance.
Brandi was born in Iowa, but was raised in the Texas cattle industry in Canyon, Texas. She was the Valedictorian of Canyon High School in 1996 and was a member of the undefeated 1996 women’s 4A state championship basketball team. Brandi attended Texas Christian University where she was active in Student Foundation, Leadership Fort Worth, and was a volunteer for The Women’s Center of Tarrant County. She served as Supervisor of Intramural Sports and as President of her sorority Alpha Chi Omega. Brandi majored in Finance with a minor in Accounting, graduating cum laude from the Neeley School of Business with a BBA in 2000. Brandi graduated from The University of Texas School of Law in 2003. Brandi served as the law school’s representative on the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Texas – Law Student Division. She was a Class Representative on the Student Bar Association, volunteered with the Safe Place Court Watch Program and managed Austin operations for Barbri bar prep.
Upon graduation from law school, Brandi practiced law with Brown & Fortunato, P.C., focusing on the firm’s health care matters. She relocated to the east coast when her husband was stationed there as a Navy submarine officer. She worked in a small firm on the Florida/Georgia border in the coastal naval base town of St. Mary’s primarily representing the City of St. Mary’s. She left private practice to serve as in-house counsel for Fidelity National Title Group at its national headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brandi served as Assistant Vice-President in Fidelity’s Legal Claims Department. She managed a team of other attorneys and handled a case load of complex title claims. While her work at Fidelity was national in scope, she maintained a substantial base of matters in the State of Texas.
After her husband’s departure from the U.S. Navy, Brandi and family returned home to the Panhandle, and re-joined the firm in 2011. Brandi enjoys cooking, reading, following TCU and UT football, and spending time in the mountains of New Mexico. Brandi and her husband, Chris, have one daughter, Piper, and a raucous brood of pets.
