Allison Shelton joined the Health Care Group of Brown & Fortunato in 2010. Her primary practice involves the representation of hospitals, as well as other health care industry providers, on a variety of state and federal statutory and regulatory health care issues. Allison is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Amarillo Area Bar Association, and the Amarillo Young Lawyers Association.
Allison was raised in Monahans, Texas. In 2004, she received a B.A. in History as well as a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas, Permian Basin. She then taught Government at Springtown High School for three years. In 2007, she enrolled at Texas Tech School of Law. While at law school, she served as a contributing writer and an editor for the Texas Bank Lawyer. She also served as an editor for The Community Property and Estate Planning Journal. In 2010, she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
Allison enjoys art, nature, and running.
